Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Honey Letter ("I", "me") for the Honey Letter app. By using the app you agree to them. They sit alongside Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/).
Using the app
You may use the app for your personal or business content, as often as you like. Please do not copy or resell the app, its templates, stickers, frames, widgets or fonts as your own product, and do not try to take apart or interfere with the app.
Your content
Your photos and designs belong to you. They stay on your device. You are responsible for having the right to use the photos you put into the app and for what you post. Please do not use the app to make or edit content that is illegal, or that infringes other people's rights or privacy.
Editing tools and AI features
Some tools, such as Remove background, Retouch and Magic erase, make changes to your photo automatically. They run on your device and the results can be imperfect or unexpected, especially on faces, fine details and large areas. Please check the result before you use or share it, and keep a copy of the original. You are responsible for how you use edited photos, including not presenting an edit as something it is not where that could mislead or harm others.
Magic erase needs a one-time download of an AI model (about 215 MB) from Hugging Face. It requires iOS 17 or newer and free storage space on your phone. The model (LaMa) is open-source software licensed under the Apache License 2.0, and its authors provide it without any warranty. Downloading over mobile data may be charged by your carrier.
Templates, stickers and other included content
The templates, stickers, frames, widgets and other items in the app are provided for you to use in your own designs, including posts you publish and items you sell. You may not redistribute them on their own, for example by sharing the files or selling them as a pack.
Honey Letter Pro and purchases
Some content and features need Honey Letter Pro or a one-time purchase of a template.
- Pro subscriptions (monthly or yearly): payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
- Lifetime Pro and single templates: these are one-time purchases that you can restore on your other devices with "Restore purchases".
- Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may change. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Updates and online content
The app may download new templates, stickers, frames and other content, and I may add, change or remove content over time. Some features may change or stop working with newer versions of iOS.
No guarantees
The app is provided "as is". I try to keep it working well, but I cannot promise that it will always be free of errors or available without interruption. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss caused by using the app, including loss of designs or photos, so please save your finished work to your Photos and keep your original photos. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Changes
I may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page, with its date.
